Happy Mother's Day . . .

... and thank you to all the mothers who bless my life daily with their examples. I am surrounded by women who strive to uplift themselves and those around them, admit their mistakes and find ways to learn from them, teach their children love and service, and above all are my dearest friends!
One more thought ... fourteen years ago I celebrated my first Mother's Day. The handsome young man that made that possible had his final band concert in junior high, and is now preparing for high school. He was ordained a teacher in the Aaronic priesthood today, and will be attending his first youth dance Saturday! You know we'll be there to embarrass him in every way we can.
(The pic is of Teej with his band teacher.)

Oh ... I Wub your Nails!

These two are becoming good friends!
Claira usually screams when Evie comes near because ... well ... Claira has a big bubble, and Evie is verrrry affectionate!
Today, however, was different ... they sat quietly together while Evie painted Claira's nails. At least for 2 whole minutes!

Enough already!

Okay ... I think we're all tired of seeing Evie passed out on the floor! I have been so busy with school work that I don't even have time to clean my house. Forget keeping up a blog! Here's a cute pic of Maddy and Claira playing at the park after this year's Heart Walk ... stare at that for awhile!

And the winner is …

Okay, Tom didn't win but he did get 2nd place People's Choice Award in the Annual Ward Chili Cook-off! The winners were decided by a popular vote (tickets in a jar) and Tom was 1 ticket away from winning. BTW ... Chelsea and T.J. forgot to vote ... we all know that means Tom actually won. We're still trying to decide if we're gonna let them live. (hee hee)
