Happy Mother's Day . . .

... and thank you to all the mothers who bless my life daily with their examples. I am surrounded by women who strive to uplift themselves and those around them, admit their mistakes and find ways to learn from them, teach their children love and service, and above all are my dearest friends!
One more thought ... fourteen years ago I celebrated my first Mother's Day. The handsome young man that made that possible had his final band concert in junior high, and is now preparing for high school. He was ordained a teacher in the Aaronic priesthood today, and will be attending his first youth dance Saturday! You know we'll be there to embarrass him in every way we can.

I still can't believe how old he is now! He is definitely a good looking kid and sounded awesome at his concert too!

Watch out world!!

One of my favorite things as a mother has been to watch my son worthily serve in the priesthood. J blessed the sacrament for the first time a couple of weeks ago. That was a thrill for me!
